As a School Cook Manager, you'll be at the heart of the kitchen, managing and inspiring your team to deliver fresh, tasty nutritious meals and outstanding service every day.
- Prepare the menu using the recipes provided, including catering for special dietary needs.
- Ensure food hygiene, allergens, and health & safety standards are always met.
- Stock control, place orders, and manage the budgets.
- Lead and support your team, helping them grow and do their best.
- Build positive relationships with staff, students, and the wider school community.
- Experience in educational catering or similar environment and a passion for working with fresh, quality ingredients.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certification, with further training available if needed.
- Strong understanding of health and safety in a kitchen environment.
- A self-starter who can take initiative, drive results, and motivate and develop your team.
- Eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact in the school community.
