Job summary

Chartwells is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to oversee all catering and service operations on a part-time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week and 43.6 weeks per year. You will lead kitchen and front-of-house teams, ensuring exceptional food quality and customer service, while managing inventories, budgets, and health and safety policies.

The role requires at least two years of catering experience, team leadership ability, and relevant hygiene certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Demonstrate brilliant financial acumen.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Your key responsibilities will include:
