Job summary

Saltford CofE Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cook to join our catering team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals to students, staff and visitors while upholding food safety standards.

We want someone reliable, flexible and capable of working both independently and as part of a team, with a passion for great food and service. The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–2:00pm.

Qualifications

• Has previous catering experience, ideally within a school or college environment.
• Holds a current Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and has a good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Has a genuine interest in food and providing a high-quality service to students, staff and visitors.
• Enthusiastic, reliable and flexible, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Can work efficiently under pressure, prioritise their workload and maintain high standards at all times.
