Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a Mini Bus Driver to join our team in Edinburgh. You will safely transport passengers to and from school, day centres and community activities, ensuring their safety, comfort and dignity.

The role requires a UK D1 category licence, PVG clearance, full training and a commitment to safeguarding. Overtime opportunities are available; permanent opportunities may arise in the coming months.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with D1 category.
• PVG check required; new applicants £59, update applications £18.
• Full training, PPE, and overtime opportunities provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to and from school, day centres and activities.
• Assist with boarding and alighting, offering patient, respectful support.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean.
• Report maintenance concerns promptly and maintain safety standards.
• Build trusting relationships with passengers, families and staff.
• Follow road safety regulations and organisational policies.
• Communicate effectively and be compassionate and safeguarding minded.
