A community-focused educational institution in the United Kingdom is seeking a part-time School Combined Cadet Force Staff Instructor (SSI). This role involves overseeing training and resources for cadets, ensuring compliance with security standards, and promoting outdoor education. Candidates must pass safeguarding checks. Offering a pay scale of £10,747 to £11,674 per annum for 14.5 hours weekly, with the opportunity for additional voluntary allowances. Flexible working required for events including weekends and evenings.
Pay Scale: Grade F (Points 17-22): £10,747 per annum – £11,674 per annum (actual salary). In addition, the successful applicant may work and then claim up to an additional 51 days and receive a voluntary allowance directly from the MoD at a current daily rate of £90.96.
Contract: Term time only (39 weeks per academic year). Job type: Part‑time 2 days per week (14.5 hours). Flexibility will be required for events including weekends and evenings. Closing date: 16 January 2026 – 12 noon.
We have the opportunity to appoint a School Combined Cadet Force Staff Instructor (SSI) to join our CCF Team at Droylsden Academy. As the SSI you will ensure that the Academy's Combined Cadet Force takes every opportunity to utilize any military opportunities that could complement and/or enhance the school intent for character development and outdoor education.
