Job summary

Catshill Federation is seeking a reliable, proactive Cleaning Supervisor to join Catshill Middle School and help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff. You will supervise the cleaning team, conduct checks, and undertake general and deep-cleaning duties across classrooms, corridors and communal areas.

The ideal candidate will have cleaning or supervising experience, be organised, and communicate well with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Has experience of cleaning and/or supervising a cleaning team.
• Is organised, reliable and able to work independently.
• Has good communication and teamwork & interpersonal skills.
• Willing to undertake relevant training, including COSHH, health and safety and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support and motivate the cleaning team.
• Carry out regular cleaning checks and audits and report any issues.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are available and maintained.
• Undertake general and deep-cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic and secure school environment.
• Report hazards, equipment faults and maintenance issues.
• Follow health and safety, COSHH and safeguarding procedures.
