Comhairle nan Eilean Siar in Kirkwall is seeking a Cleaner in Charge at Sgoil Uibhist a Tuath. You will supervise cleaning staff and oversee daily cleaning, ensuring standards meet contract requirements and health and safety guidelines.

The role is 17.5 hours per week during term time, permanent, with a salary of £12,356–£12,474 per year, including £1,225 Distant Islands Allowance. PVG scheme membership is required; interviews are in person.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising cleaning staff.
• Experience with stock take control and stock issuing.
• Understanding of cleaning in commercial environments.
