Job summary

Booker Park School in Aylesbury is seeking a School Cleaner to join our team. You will maintain a clean, hygienic and welcoming environment by cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors and facilities to a high standard.

The role is part-time, 2.5 hours per day, 39 weeks per year. Experience in a school setting is advantageous, with training and safeguarding commitments in place. Visits to the school are welcome before applying.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of hygiene.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Experience in school environment advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and other school facilities.
• Sweep, hoover, mop, dust and empty bins across areas of the school.
• Undertake specialist cleaning tasks in designated areas at specific times (e.g. deep cleaning during holidays).
• Ensure cleaning supplies are used efficiently and report maintenance or health & safety issues.
