Sidegate Primary School in Ipswich, Suffolk is seeking a Cleaner to join our team for a part-time, fixed-term role until 31 August 2027. The position runs 6 hours per week across 42 weeks a year, with Tuesday and Thursday 3pm–6pm shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the school, including classrooms, communal areas and toilets.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks, including specialist cleaning during school closure periods.
• Prepare rooms and workspaces for school activities and meetings.
• Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies, monitor stock levels and store equipment safely.
• Follow health and safety procedures, report faults or safety concerns, and complete required records and checklists.
