Job summary

Amey in Glasgow is seeking a permanent Cleaner/Housekeeper for Govan High School. The role involves delivering cleaning services on site in a split shift pattern and adhering to H&S standards across the contract.

You will be responsible for stock control, operating cleaning machinery safely, and maintaining high-quality standards for building users. The post supports local and corporate carbon reduction initiatives and requires PVG clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements.
• Control stock levels and order consumables
• Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
• Ensure a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
