Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council invites applications for a cleaner position at Netherfield Primary School. The role is 12.5 hours per week on an early-morning shift from 4:00am to 6:30am, Monday to Friday, with permanent status and training provided.

No prior cleaning experience is required as full training will be given; duties include cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and shared areas, reporting maintenance or safety concerns, and working closely with the school cleaning team to maintain

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets and other areas of the school
• Vacuum, sweep, mop and dust as required
• Clean and maintain surfaces and shared areas to a high standard
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
• Follow school cleaning procedures and health and safety requirements
• Report maintenance, damage or health and safety concerns
• Work effectively as part of the school cleaning team
• Maintain confidentiality and help keep the school safe and positive
