Job summary

Churchill Group is hiring a School Cleaner in Bishop’s Stortford to maintain high standards of cleanliness for Bishop’s Stortford College. The role is part-time and permanent year-round, with two shift patterns: Sun–Wed 10pm–12am (8 hours/week) or Thu–Sat 10pm–12am (6 hours/week), paying £12.71 per hour.

You will work as part of a friendly team, follow safety policies, and report hazards promptly. Churchill offers DBS clearance, employee ownership, wellbeing support, training and development

School Cleaner

Location: Bishops Stortford, CM23 2PQ

Contract Type: Part-time, permanent 52 weeks per year

Weekly Hours: Sunday-Wednesday 10pm-12am (2hours per day, 8 hours per week) OR Thursday – Saturday 10pm-12am (2hours per day, 6 hours per week) Salary: £12.71

Cleaning is Churchill’s largest long-established business area and as a School Cleaner you will have the all-important duty of enhancing our clients’ spaces. You’ll be part of a friendly team, all working together to create outstandingly clean and safe environments that make our clients happy.

As a School Cleaner, you will be looking after [Bishop’s Stortford College] and will complete a range of cleaning tasks in a safe and effective manner, promptly reporting any issues and safety hazards. Your safety is very important to us, so we will make sure that you’re aware of our latest policies and will provide the necessary training required to carry out your role.
