Job summary

Wellspring Academy Trust is seeking a relief cleaner to join a supportive team at Greenacre School. This casual, zero-hours role is called upon to cover staff absences, holidays or busy periods, with training provided from day one.

You will clean classrooms, offices and washrooms, carry out everyday cleaning tasks, and ensure hygiene supplies are stocked. Interviews will be virtual, and DBS checks apply.

• Contract Details: This is a casual, zero-hours contract. As a relief cleaner, you will be called upon to work on an "as-and-when-needed" basis to cover staff absences, holidays, or extra busy periods. This is a highly flexible role perfect for someone looking for occasional work.

What You'll Be Doing

Working as part of a friendly team, you will keep classrooms, offices and washrooms fresh and tidy.

• Carrying out everyday cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying bins.
• Sanitising washrooms and keeping hygiene supplies (soap, paper towels) fully stocked.
• Using cleaning equipment and products safely (we will teach you all the Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines).
• Carrying out occasional deep cleans during school holiday periods.
• Helping lock or unlock the site and keeping the school premises secure.
