Job summary

Nexgen Group is seeking a School Cleaner for one of its partner schools in Bexley, DA5. This part-time, permanent role aims to professionally clean school premises after hours.

The shift runs Monday to Friday, starting between 3:00 and 4:30pm and finishing between 6:00 and 7:30pm, at £12.21 per hour. Experience in professional cleaning, IT literacy for apps, and English communication are required; an Enhanced DBS check will be undertaken.

Qualifications

• Prior professional cleaning experience.
• IT literate (tablet / smartphone apps).
• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames.
• Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops.
• Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
• Hoover carpeted areas.
• Empty waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
• Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
• Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels.
• Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks.
