Job summary

Chartwells Schools is seeking a passionate Part-time Chef to deliver high-quality meals across our education sites. The role is 25 hours per week, contracted to 42.6 weeks per year, with opportunities to develop within a market-leading food service company in the UK.

You will lead kitchen operations, contribute to menu changes, supervise a small team, ensure hygiene and safety compliance, and maintain a positive brand image.

Qualifications

  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Food Hygiene certificate

Job description

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a part time basis contracted to 25 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving the kind of food that truly brightens our clients' and customers' days, all within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

Our Ideal Chef Will
  • Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
  • Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Have experience supervising a team
  • Have experience in a similar Chef role
  • Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
  • Have a flexible approach to working
