Job summary

Abbotsweld Primary Academy is seeking a Catering Manager to lead our kitchen team, plan and prepare nutritious, home‑cooked meals for 150+ pupils daily, and grow menu options in line with the school curriculum and healthy lifestyle goals.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, manage a budget, ensure high hygiene standards and health and safety, and promote school meals to parents and pupils; 25 hours per week, term‑time only.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a kitchen and preparing meals for children.
• Enthusiastic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to promote healthy lifestyle and school meals to pupils and parents.
