Job summary

Caterlink Ltd is hiring a Catering Assistant for Northway Inf, Tewkesbury to perform a variety of food production and service tasks in our schools. This role is term-time only with no weekend work, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

The position pays £12.71 per hour for 12 hours per week across 38 weeks per year. You will support food preparation, uphold health and safety standards, keep areas clean, and provide friendly, hygienic service to pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation or catering environments preferred.
• Demonstrates good customer service and communication skills.
• Understanding of health, safety and food safety standards.
• Able to work in a school/catering setting.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
