Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Assistant at Wickhambreaux, Canterbury, for term-time work with no weekends. Role includes food production and service in schools. Salary set at £12.71 per hour, 7.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

DBS disclosure required. Flexible and community-focused environment within a major UK education catering provider. You will contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming dining experience, supporting pupils and staff while upholding Caterlink’s standards and values.

Qualifications

• Food preparation experience in a catering or school environment.
• Customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Understanding of health and safety standards in food service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of tasty food and snacks.
• Comply with Caterlink Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
• Keep kitchen, counter and restaurant areas clean and tidy.
• Provide friendly, efficient and hygienic service to customers.
• Represent Caterlink and maintain a positive brand image.
