Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Catering Assistant at Bowerhill Primary School, Melksham, to perform food production tasks and food service. The role is term-time only with no weekends, 16 hours per week, across 38 weeks per year, with a rate of £12.71 per hour.

The position involves assisting in food prep, upholding health and safety and food safety standards, and delivering friendly, hygienic service while representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production and service in a school setting.
• Comply with health and safety and food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, counter and dining areas.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to customers.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks.
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures.
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state.
