Caterlink is hiring a Catering Assistant at St Gerards Primary School, Rotherham to perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role: £12.71per hour, 20hours per week working Monday – Friday, Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year. Your key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks, complying with Caterlink Health

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and service within a catering environment is desirable.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures and maintain cleanliness.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive, friendly approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food and snacks for pupils and staff.
• Comply with Caterlink health and safety and food safety standards.
• Keep kitchen, counter and restaurant areas clean and tidy.
