Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Catering Assistant to cover maternity leave at Gorse Hill Primary School in Swindon. The role is full-time equivalent but term-time only, with 16 hours per week across Monday to Friday and £12.71 per hour, for 38 weeks per year.

You will assist in food preparation, ensure hygiene and safety standards, and provide friendly service in our school catering operation. A DBS check is required as part of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Term-time only role, 38 weeks per year.
• No weekend work; provides flexibility.
• 16 hours per week, based at Swindon school.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
