Term Time Teachers Ltd is hiring a School Caretake / Site Assistant for an independent prep school in Tunbridge Wells. The role is 35 hours per week, full-time, focused on maintaining the school site, buildings and grounds to a high standard to create a safe, welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have prior site experience, be organized and reliable, able to work independently, and comfortable in a busy school setting.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience working as a Site Assistant, Site Manager, Premises Assistant or similar role.
• Have practical experience of general maintenance, repairs and upkeep of school or commercial premises.
• Be confident carrying out routine checks and identifying maintenance or health and safety issues.
• Be organised, reliable and able to work independently.
• Have a proactive, hands-on approach and take pride in maintaining a high-quality environment.
• Be comfortable working around children and within a busy school setting.
