Headteacher:Mr Matthew Cross
We are seeking a School Business Manager to join our friendly and supportive team on a temporary basis whilst our current School Business Manager takes maternity leave.
Queen’s Hill is a vibrant, diverse and popular school on the outskirts of Norwich. With over 600 pupils and around 90 staff, no two days are ever the same.
As School Business Manager, you play a key role in ensuring the school runs smoothly behind the scenes so that staff can focus on teaching, and pupils on learning. You will work closely and provide support to the Headteacher, Assistant Headteachers and Governors, whilst also managing the day-to-day operational needs of our school.
One moment you may be monitoring budgets, processing orders, and the next you could be supporting a recruitment process, processing HR paperwork, responding to a health and safety concern or helping parents and staff with queries. Flexibility, organisation and a sense of humour are essential.
You will have the opportunity to make a difference across the whole school. Whether it’s ensuring the school has the resources it needs, supporting colleagues, improving systems and processes, or helping to create a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, every day brings something different and rewarding.
We are a school with a strong team ethos. Staff support one another, celebrate successes together and are committed to providing the very best outcomes for our children. If you enjoy building positive relationships, solving problems, managing competing priorities and being at the heart of a busy school community, this could be the role for you.
Take a look at our website and social media channels to gain an insight into our school. Please also get in touch if you would like to arrange a school tour.
