Job summary

Place2Be is seeking a Supervising Counsellor to lead and supervise placement counsellors within a school setting. The role focuses on assessment, referral formulation and supporting therapists to ensure best outcomes for children and families.

You will still engage in therapeutic work with children and contribute to shaping the clinical delivery of services across year groups. A year of professional practice and a counselling qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified therapist/counsellor with at least 1 year in practice.
• Experience delivering supervision or support in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee Counsellors on Placement to deliver interventions.
• Assess and formulate referrals and support clinical delivery in the school.
• Continue delivering some therapeutic work with children and groups as needed.
