A leading healthcare service in Greater London is seeking a Band 5 therapist to join the Biborough SLT education team for a 3-month fixed-term contract. You will manage a varied caseload, providing vital Speech and Language Therapy to children in inner London schools. Qualifications

• Essential: Degree or equivalent and Licence to Practice required.
• Current registered membership of HCPC and RCSLT is mandatory.
• Experience working with children in clinics or school settings is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise own caseload independently.
• Assess and implement Speech and Language Therapy treatment for children.
• Deliver Therapy provision as specified in Education Health and Care Plans.

Skills

Excellent communication skills both verbal, non-verbal and written

Working in collaboration with children and young people, parents/carers and families

Ability to adapt communication skills to meet the needs of others

Highly developed auditory and perceptual skills in assessment and treatment

Good auditory discrimination skills and ability to transcribe speech phonetically

Education

Degree or equivalent and Licence to Practice from Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists

Current registered membership of HCPC and RCSLT
