Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with supporting pupils with Autism and SEND is advantageous
• Ability to communicate effectively with teachers and professionals
• Patience, calmness, and supportive attitude toward children with additional needs
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism and SEND (ages 5-19)
• Support the delivery of EHCPs
• Encourage emotional wellbeing, communication and social development
• Communicate clearly with teachers and SEND staff
• Assist with personal care as required (PEG feeding, moving and handling, toileting) with training
• Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment
