Job summary

Crowdys Hill School caters for over 340 students with complex learning and medical needs aged 4-19. The role involves providing personal care, including pad changing and physical support such as hoisting, moving and handling, diabetic checks, and medicines administration.

We seek caring individuals who can uphold students’ dignity, work well with staff, and are keen to learn through on-site training. A friendly, supportive environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in care roles and heartfelt commitment to supporting children and young people.
• Willingness to learn and participate in training provided by the school.
• Ability to maintain dignity and independence of students in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to students, including assisting with moving and handling.
• Perform diabetic blood checks and assist with issuing medicines as required.
• Support students to maintain dignity and form positive relationships with staff.
