Overview

South Shore Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced Office Manager who has ideally worked within a busy school office. The ideal candidate will be a personable and engaging character who can use their initiative and be flexible. You should have good customer service, ICT and communication skills. We are seeking an individual who is well-organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly, motivated and passionate about providing an excellent support service to our children, staff and visitors. Training will be given to the right candidate but you will require good IT skills, particularly Google Docs/Sheets and a knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate good communication skills that allow effective communication with all levels of school staff, governors, pupils and parents.
Requirements
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Very good organisational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • The ability to work on own initiative.
