Qualifications

Job description

We have an opportunity for a Scheme Officer to join our team in Plymouth.

This is a part time role working 3 days a week, we can be flexible with which days you work.

The starting salary will be £15,737 - £17,635 (full time equivalent of £25,878 - £29,000 per year) depending on your experience.

The role

As a Scheme Officer at SNG you'll ensure that our housing for older people schemes provide a safe, well maintained and compliant environment where our current and future customers are proud to live.

You'll work directly with our customers conducting viewings and settling in visits, inductions and working with external professional agencies to support their wellbeing and ongoing independence. You will provide advice and guidance to address issues relating to their tenancy, home and the scheme

Our Scheme Officers also carry out regular inspections of schemes, oversee and monitor the work of our on‑site contractors, collaborate with internal teams to ensure essential works are completed and carry our risk assessments.

This role combines outstanding customer service with facilities management and data management to help our older customers maintain their independence and resilience within a positive environment where their voices are heard.

About you:

You will have excellent customer service and people skills and experience of working collaboratively to make sure your customers needs are addressed.

We are also looking for:

  • An understanding of the importance of building safety and compliance
  • Strong administration and time management skills
  • Experience of using computer systems and recording and maintaining accurate data
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.

A DBS check will be undertaken for the successful candidate.
