Broxtowe Borough Council is looking to recruit an experienced cleaner for our independent living scheme at Southfields Court. The main purpose of the job is to provide an effective cleaning service to the Independent Living Scheme and ensure the specified standard of cleanliness is maintained.
The Council has a positive approach to training and development and will seek to facilitate appropriate job‑related training. Please demonstrate in your application how you achieve the essential and desirable criteria set out in the person specification. Consideration may be given to applicants who do not achieve all essential criteria but can demonstrate a good level of relevant work experience.
The role will require you to be able to drive and a designated car user status has been applied to this post. Please see the Personal Specification for further information.
This is a permanent role and may involve travel around the Borough of Broxtowe.
Successfully shortlisted candidates will be asked to attend a formal interview which may include a test to determine suitability for the role.
