Overview

Broxtowe Borough Council is looking to recruit an experienced cleaner for our independent living scheme at Southfields Court. The main purpose of the job is to provide an effective cleaning service to the Independent Living Scheme and ensure the specified standard of cleanliness is maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside work schedules and specifications; clean all areas and items to the frequency and standards required.
  • Ensure cleaning is carried out using the appropriate equipment and materials.
  • Carry out duties in accordance with instructions to comply with the Council's Health and Safety Policy.
  • Liaise with the cleaning team leader regarding workload and standards.
Training and Development

The Council has a positive approach to training and development and will seek to facilitate appropriate job‑related training. Please demonstrate in your application how you achieve the essential and desirable criteria set out in the person specification. Consideration may be given to applicants who do not achieve all essential criteria but can demonstrate a good level of relevant work experience.

This is a permanent role and may involve travel around the Borough of Broxtowe.
