A facilities management company in the United Kingdom is looking for a creative Scheduler to manage job deliveries for a dedicated engineering team. The ideal candidate should have experience in service delivery and possess strong IT skills. Responsibilities include overseeing job allocations, resource management to ensure first time fixes, and handling incomplete tasks. This role involves working under pressure in a busy environment.
We are looking for a personable, creative Scheduler to manage the overall activity of a dedicated engineering team and the jobs which have been delegated to the Helpdesk for delivery.
Within the Helpdesk team, you will manage the delivery of jobs allocated for delivery. The Scheduler will utilise systems and processes, ensuring that the correct engineering resources are deployed to achieve first time fixes for customers. This will range from using internal regional engineers to subcontractors as appropriate, with the aim of ensuring that the job is attended within the specified SLAs.
In addition to this, you will also manage the completion of the job as well as ensuring that all parts and materials are accounted for, required documentation is completed, and any incomplete jobs are followed up and reallocated as appropriate.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working within a service delivery or contact centre and demonstrate a creative approach to analysing and solving problems using technology and reported information.
You should possess strong IT skills and the ability to work effectively when under pressure within a busy and diverse environment.
