This role will initially be based in Bradford but were moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in Summer 2026, so youll be based there in the future
This is a permanent role, working full time, 37 hours per week, Monday Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler to join the Central Control team in the Customer Experience function at Yorkshire Water. You will play a key role in the creation & administration of work schedules for field team members to meet operational needs in respect of planned and reactive work activities.
You will be responsible for managing the schedules, using Yorkshire Water systems and principles to schedule work to maximise productivity, liaising with the Planners, Field teams and Triage when required.

You will play a key role in the creation & administration of work schedules for field team members to meet operational needs in respect of planned and reactive work activities.
You will provide Yorkshire Water customers with a first-class service. You will speak to customers to keep them informed of their work (confirming that its scheduled in and providing an estimated time of arrival). You will liaise with the Field team when required and help maximise work productivity.
You will be responsible for day-day jeopardy management, making decisions to align with our goal for effective work completion on first time visits, our service commitments and elevate as appropriate. You will proactively manage work in daytime hours to reduce standby requirement and triage reactive high priority work. You will regularly discuss the plan, schedule and workbasket with the wider Triage, Planning and Scheduling team, Technical Planning, Operational and Maintenance Managers, noting any risks or blockers.
