Job summary

Rocket Scenery in the United Kingdom seeks a skilled scenic painter to translate designers' concepts into large-scale finishes using traditional and contemporary techniques. You will contribute to multiple projects, maintaining craftsmanship, creativity and efficiency across the workshop.

Collaborating with Scenic Art, Carpentry, Metalwork and Set Electrics, you will help deliver high-quality scenery while upholding safe working practices and supporting a positive company culture.

The Role

Working within our Paintshop team, you will help translate designers' small scale ideas into full-scale scenic finishes using a broad range of traditional and contemporary scenic techniques. You will contribute to the delivery of multiple projects, maintaining the high standards of craftsmanship, creativity and efficiency for which Rocket Scenery is known.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret designers' drawings and references, developing them into full-scale reproductions.
• Work on large-scale cloths, gauzes and scenic elements.
• Work effectively to project deadlines while maintaining excellent quality standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Scenic Art, Carpentry, Metalwork and Set Electrics.
