Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson is seeking a SCADA Engineer for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer in Denmark to strengthen OT vulnerability management, patching, and configuration controls across multiple sites.

You will review vulnerabilities, define baselines for SCADA/OT systems, and collaborate with OT Security Engineers and asset owners to document findings and remediation recommendations, ensuring operational resilience and safe system operation.

• Experience documenting technical findings, procedures, standards and assessment reports.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and improvement of OT Vulnerability Management processes and procedures.
• Support the development and enhancement of OT Patch Management processes and procedures.
• Review detected vulnerabilities and validate findings against OT asset inventories and system configurations.
• Assess vulnerabilities from security and operational perspectives to determine remediation actions or risk acceptance.
• Support the development and improvement of OT Configuration Management processes and procedures.
• Define and document practical minimum configuration baselines for SCADA and OT systems, including legacy assets.
• Support the development and maintenance of OT application and software allow-listing requirements.
• Assess existing OT assets against approved baselines and identify deviations.
• Document findings and remediation recommendations clearly.
• Produce site-specific configuration compliance and security assessment reports.
• Contribute to standardization of OT security and configuration practices across sites.
• Work with OT Security Engineers, SCADA teams, asset owners, and operations teams to ensure practical security improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of OT Vulnerability Management processes and procedures.
• Support the development and enhancement of OT Patch Management processes and procedures.
• Review detected vulnerabilities and validate findings against OT asset inventories and system configurations.
• Assess vulnerabilities from both a security and operational perspective to determine appropriate remediation actions, compensating controls, or risk acceptance.
• Support the development and improvement of OT Configuration Management processes and procedures.
• Define and document practical, measurable, and verifiable minimum configuration baselines for SCADA and OT systems, including legacy and operationally constrained assets.
• Support the development and maintenance of OT application and software allow-listing requirements.
• Assess existing OT assets against approved configuration baselines and identify deviations, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Document findings and remediation recommendations in a clear and structured manner.
• Produce site-specific configuration compliance and security assessment reports.
• Contribute to the standardization of OT security and configuration management practices across multiple sites and technologies.
• Work closely with OT Security Engineers, SCADA teams, asset owners, and operational stakeholders to ensure security improvements are practical and operationally sustainable.
