Job summary

A leading technology firm is seeking a Network Engineer to work full-time onsite in Corsham. The role includes configuring network devices and requires experience with Cisco routing and switching. Candidates must possess or be eligible for high-level security clearance. The position is initial for 6 months with a rate of £500 per day, inside IR35.

Job description

Role Details

• Title: Network Engineer
• Location: full time onsite in Corsham
• Clearance required: DV ideal, or SC and open to DV sponsorship.
• IR35 status: Inside IR35, £500 per day
• Duration: 6 months initially with extension likely

Experience

• Configuring network devices
• Previous experience Cisco routing and switching devices
• Demonstrable understanding of OSPF, EIGRP and BGP routing protocols.
• Previous troubleshooting and support experience.

Desirable skills

• Previous experience with Juniper SRX or Fortinet FortiGate
• Previous experience with Cisco ASA and McAfee MFE appliances
• Previous experience with some of the following Cisco appliances:
  • Cisco routing 1800,1900,2900,3900 and 4300 series.
  • Cisco switching 3750, 3850 series, 9200 & 9300 series.
