Job summary

CNI Infrastructure is seeking a Wintel & Security Tools Analyst to support Windows infrastructure and cybersecurity tooling. You will administer Windows Server, AD, IAM, and endpoint security platforms, ensuring healthy operations and secure configurations with minimal user disruption.

The initial 6-month contract is hybrid, with 3 days on-site in Wokingham, and requires Active SC clearance. You will coordinate with vendors and support audits while maintaining runbooks and ITSM processes.

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance is essential.
• Strong Windows Server administration including AD, GPO, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with antivirus/endpoint management solutions.
• Familiarity with ITSM incident, request and problem management.
• Ability to tune security tooling while minimizing user disruption.

Responsibilities

• Support and administer Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and AD, DNS, DHCP, patching and hardening.
• Provide IAM support and manage AD users/groups.
• Provision and maintain VMs and monitor performance and capacity.
• Administer antivirus and endpoint management platforms; monitor health and policy sync.
• Run updates, patches and version upgrades for security software.
• Escalate issues to support desks; resolve agent malfunctions and conflicts.
• Tune detection rules and policies to reduce false positives while maintaining protection.
• Work with vendors to resolve bugs, outages and integration issues.
• Onboard new devices and software into the endpoint ecosystem.
• Handle incidents in ITSM tools and support audits.
• Document configurations, runbooks and troubleshooting steps.
