Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking a SC Cleared Solution Architect focused on AI, data and automation. You will shape enterprise-scale solutions, guiding customers from discovery through to architecture and implementation in a remote-first engagement.

The role sits at the intersection of customers, architecture and emerging tech, turning AI capabilities into deliverable business value with governance and security considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solution Architect within AI, Data, Analytics or Digital Transformation with strong AI architecture knowledge.
• Defence & Security experience and SC Cleared.
• Knowledge of MLOps / LLMOps, Knowledge Graphs and enterprise architecture standards.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise AI, data and automation solutions for clients.
• Architect Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions across platforms (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini).
• Develop RAG, vector database and enterprise search architectures.
• Lead multi-agent systems design, tool calling and orchestration.
• Provide API-led and event-driven architectures across Microsoft and enterprise platforms.
• Run customer discovery and solution-design workshops and create implementation roadmaps.

SC Cleared Solution Architect | AI, Data & Automation | £80,000 - £90,000

Are you a Solution Architect who wants to work at the forefront of AI, Data and Automation?

I’m supporting an organisation that is expanding its AI capability and looking for a Solution Architect to help shape enterprise-scale solutions, working with customers to take ideas from initial discovery and requirements through to architecture and implementation.

This is a great opportunity if you enjoy sitting at the intersection of customers, architecture and emerging technology, helping organisations understand what’s possible with AI and turning that into solutions that deliver genuine business value.

What you'll be working on:

• Designing enterprise AI, Data & Automation solutions


• Architecting Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions


• Designing RAG, vector database and enterprise search architectures


• Working across OpenAI / Azure OpenAI, Anthropic and Google Gemini


• Designing multi-agent systems, tool calling and orchestration


• API-led and event-driven architecture across Microsoft and enterprise platforms


• Running customer discovery and solution-design workshops


• Creating reference architectures and implementation roadmaps


• Supporting proposals, technical pre-sales and solution estimates


• Helping customers navigate Responsible AI, governance and security

What they're looking for looking for:

You’ll ideally have experience as a Solution Architect within AI, Data, Analytics or Digital Transformation, with a strong understanding of modern AI architecture.

Experience within Defence & Security and SC Cleared, alongside knowledge of MLOps / LLMOps, Knowledge Graphs and enterprise architecture standards.

Salary is up to £90,000 and they are remote first with client site visits when required. Other benefits include private medical care, 25 days annual leave,
