Job summary

A leading ICT Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an SC cleared Network Test Specialist for a 6-month contract. This hybrid role requires 3 days per week on-site in Telford. Ideal candidates will have experience in test automation for data platforms, familiarity with SAS Viya, and strong problem-solving skills. They will need to be security cleared before appointment, which can take a minimum of 10 weeks.

Job description

An SC cleared Network Test Specialist is required for an initial 6 month contract. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week on site in Telford and is inside IR35 so will require working via an FCSA accredited umbrella company.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Working in a collaborative agile environment Test automation for data and analytics platforms, including SAS Viya 4.
• Assuring the appropriate tool selection for both business and technical needs Setting the strategy and approach for both UI and System Integration based automation Knowledge of REST API’s and testing API endpoints Scripting skills in Python, Shell, or similar languages and associated frameworks Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Data Management and profiling
• Setting test direction for the automation team Strong Communication and Stakeholder Management skills Strong Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Desirable Experience:

• Familiarity with SAS Viya architecture and components (VA, ID, CAS etc)
• Understanding of containerized environments and orchestration tools (e.g Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
