Overview

Title: SC Cleared .NET Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000 D.O.E

Location: Remote First (Occasional travel)

iO Associates is working with a Central Government organisation that's delivering a major digital transformation programme, and they're looking for a .NET Software Engineer to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact public sector projects, using modern .NET technologies within a secure, cloud-first environment. The role is fully remote (UK-based) with flexible working and long-term potential.

Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework
  • Hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Familiar with HTTP methods, status codes, and API security best practices
  • Experience with Azure Services (App Services, Functions, Storage, SQL Database)
  • Skilled in Azure DevOps - source control, CI/CD pipelines, build & release management
  • Understanding of OAuth, JWT, and securing APIs & data encryption
  • Solid experience writing unit and integration tests (xUnit, NUnit, etc.)
