Job summary

IO Associates has been engaged to fill an SC-cleared Interaction Designer role in London, hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will design intuitive, accessible digital services for UK Central Government projects, aligning with GDS standards and service design principles.

You will collaborate with User Researchers, Service Designers, Product Managers and Technical Delivery teams, turning research into wireframes, prototypes and user flows while maintaining strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance, used within the last 12 months.
• Experience delivering Interaction Design services within Central Government or Defence environments.
• Strong understanding of GDS Service Standards and Government Design Principles.
• Experience producing wireframes, prototypes and user flows using Figma or similar tools.
• Comfortable working within multidisciplinary Agile teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Our client is a technology-led consultancy delivering secure digital services and transformation programmes across the UK Central Government and Defence sectors.

They are currently seeking an SC Cleared Interaction Designer to support the delivery of a high-profile digital programme. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will help design intuitive, accessible and user-centred services that meet both user needs and Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.

This role will suit someone with strong public sector experience who is comfortable working closely with User Researchers, Service Designers, Product Managers and Technical Delivery teams throughout the full service lifecycle.

What you'll do:
