Job summary

First Recruitment Group in Glasgow is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure packages from design through to completion, working onsite 3 days a week in a regulated environment.

You will manage NEC4 contracts, lead multidisciplinary teams, monitor cost, schedule, quality and risk, and support a major long-term programme with strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance or ability to obtain SC Clearance.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects in built environment.
• Hands-on consultancy/construction background with 5+ years project delivery including management roles.
• Proven experience managing electrical projects from design through to completion.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project costs and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, delivery and commissioning phases of electrical systems.
• Establish and deliver project-specific objectives.
• Manage NEC4 contracts, monitor supplier performance for quality, time and cost.
• Control expenditure against budgets and provide forecasts.
• Participate in project assurance and gateway reviews.
• Develop and manage project budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Apply change control processes and risk management principles.
• Ensure governance compliance and stakeholder alignment.
