Job summary

Lorien in Clydebank seeks an SC cleared Infrastructure Engineer to deliver ICT infrastructure installations in secure, mission-critical environments across naval dockyard locations. You will join a specialist telecoms and fixed infrastructure team, installing, maintaining and upgrading networks to MOD standards.

Role involves fibre/copper cabling, NECs, splicing, containment systems, and site-to-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• SC Cleared Infrastructure Engineer with experience delivering ICT infrastructure installations in secure, mission-critical environments.
• Experience delivering ICT infrastructure installations across dockyard locations and secure environments.
• Ability to work in secure or highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with health and safety practices in engineering contexts.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure ICT infrastructure within secure environments.
• Undertake fibre and copper cabling installations and terminations.
• Install Network Equipment Cabinets (NECs) and supporting infrastructure.
• Carry out fibre splicing and testing activities.
• Install containment systems including basket and tray infrastructure.
• Deliver infrastructure works in accordance with MOD standards and specifications.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, moves, additions, and changes across multiple sites.
• Work with local technical specialists to ensure project delivery.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to required quality standards.
