Job summary

Matchtech Group seeks an experienced Electrical Technician with active SC clearance for a long-term, on-site contract. The role focuses on BMS installation, panel wiring, cable containment, and rigorous electrical testing on a secure site.

Candidates should be time-served electricians with Level 3 qualifications and 18th Edition, able to read drawings and work within highly regulated environments. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Time Served Electrician with an apprenticeship or equivalent.
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience in electrical installation and maintenance within industrial or engineering environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Active SC Clearance is essential (or eligibility to transfer an existing clearance).

Responsibilities

• BMS installation and maintenance works.
• Panel wiring and control panel modifications.
• Cable tray installation and containment works.
• Electrical installation, testing, inspection and fault finding.
• Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics.
• Completing site documentation and test records.
• Supporting installation, modification and commissioning activities.
