A UK Governmental Agency is seeking a Deployment Engineer to support delivery operations in London. The role involves managing IT device installations and transitions into Live Service, requiring knowledge of Windows and Mac builds, network infrastructure, and excellent customer service skills. Candidates must possess or be eligible for SC Clearance. This role offers a contract until March 2026.
On behalf of the Cabinet Office, we are looking for a Deployment Engineer (Inside IR35) for a contract until end of March ’26 based in London 5 days per week.

The role of Deployment Engineer will form part of the Delivery Operations Team that sits under the Delivery Function of the organisation and works closely with the Delivery Managers. You will also work in partnership with the other functions of CO Digital Enterprise Services Teams such as Cloud Service, Network Operations, End User Compute and Commercial, Finance and Training teams. This role is a unique role and you will support a variety of medium and large projects in close collaboration with the Delivery Managers and Senior Technical Engineers to plan and deliver smaller projects. You will support the Delivery Operations Managers on office relocation/setups working alongside Cabinet Office Estates and Government Property Agency championing CO Digital values and delivering at pace on a variety of critical projects.
SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short‑term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
