Experis UK is partnering with a leading organisation in Newcastle upon Tyne to hire Data Engineers at junior, mid and senior levels. Eligible for SC clearance or active SC clearance is mandatory, with a focus on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and cloud-based solutions.

The role involves mentoring junior engineers for mid/senior levels, working on greenfield projects, and contributing to a modern, cloud-first data platform while ensuring governance and security practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark; Scala is a plus.
• Understanding of data modelling and warehousing concepts.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Develop and optimise data models for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with software engineers, analysts and stakeholders.
