Job summary

Scantec Personnel Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Project Engineer for a site-based contract role in Berkshire. You will bridge engineering design and on-site execution, ensuring safe, compliant project delivery across regulated environments.

Key duties include coordinating technical activities, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers, and supporting programme management, cost reporting and risk identification within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Essential Level 3 qualification in engineering/construction.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical studies and develop practical solutions to meet objectives.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Control Plans and LTQRs.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to identify plant, equipment and services for delivery.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure compliant sourcing of goods and services.
• Support management of construction documentation, TQs, and site personnel coordination.
• Ensure communication between disciplines to support project execution.
• Assist leadership with programme management, cost reporting, risk identification and stakeholder engagement.
