Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Security Architect to design and deliver secure cloud solutions within a large-scale programme in the UK. The role requires active SC clearance and deep expertise in cloud security and governance.

You will work across engineering and infrastructure teams to implement secure cloud environments, perform risk assessments, and produce security guidance and documentation to support secure delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Security Architect.
• Strong cloud security and infrastructure security knowledge.
• Experience with risk assessments and governance processes.
• Active SC Clearance is required or currently held.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement cloud security architectures and controls.
• Ensure security is embedded throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Conduct security reviews, risk assessments and provide architectural guidance.
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to deliver secure cloud environments.
• Produce security documentation, standards and best practice guidance.
