Job summary

Datasource is seeking an AI Trainer in Gloucestershire for a hybrid, permanent role (37.5 hours/week) with UK-wide travel. The trainer will deliver high-quality Data Science, GenAI and Python training, design learner-centric courses, and act as a subject matter expert across government and defence programmes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex technical training in Data Science, Python and GenAI.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques, GenAI concepts, and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Python programming with strong familiarity with the NumPy ecosystem.
• Ability to design engaging, outcome-focused courseware for diverse audiences.
• Experience applying instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for technical and non-technical learners.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across teams.
• Track record of high trainer satisfaction scores and using feedback to improve delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, engaging technical training in Data Science, GenAI and Python.
• Design and develop learner-centric courseware aligned to client requirements.
• Maintain a Trainer Satisfaction Score (TSAT) 88%+ and meet benchmarks.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert and contribute to client programmes.
• Conduct peer observations and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support shared goals and client requirements.
• Stay current with emerging tech and best practices; maintain industry certifications.
