Job summary

Wilmslow Dental Centre in Cheshire is seeking a qualified Saturday Dental Nurse to provide chairside support on Saturdays, with 5 hours per week. Immediate start available; day rate discussed at interview.

You will assist clinicians, maintain infection control, manage patient records, and help ensure smooth running of Saturday appointments. 12 months’ experience and GDC registration are required.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and current GDC registration.
• At least 12 months’ dental nursing experience.
• Strong communication, organisational and dental software skills.
• A caring, professional approach and confidence working within a team.
• A commitment to excellent patient care and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials for treatment.
• Providing chairside assistance during dental procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of infection control, sterilisation and decontamination.
• Supporting accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Keeping surgeries organised and helping appointments run smoothly.
• Offering reassurance and a welcoming experience to every patient.
