MBDA UK is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Architect to lead the transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, balancing ongoing ECC optimization with the design and execution of the migration. The role requires coordination across MBDA UK, France and Italy, with regular travel and a hybrid on-site work pattern.
You will own SAP technical governance, oversee readiness checks, data migration, and integration architecture, and work with security teams to ensure compliant SAP security.
We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Architect to provide strategic technical leadership across our current SAP ECC landscape and champion our transformation to SAP S/4HANA. In this role, you will balance the optimization of the existing ECC systems with the architectural design and execution of our S/4HANA migration. Salary: Circa £70,000 depending on experience. Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification, as we approach S/4HANA go-live this will likely increase. The role will require regular travel to France and, on occasion, Italy. Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
MBDA is undergoing a major transformation programme migrating from a legacy SAP ECC6 system to SAP S/4HANA. The programme is taking place across MBDA UK, France and Italy presenting a unique opportunity to look at our process and ways of working. This role will directly influence the future system landscape at MBDA UK. In the UK, we are growing our SAP team and you will occupy a key position in this. The role will involve close collaboration with the SAP team in France and Italy as well as with third party system integrators.
